Desuperheaters
Problem-free control of steam temperature.
Most desuperheaters are used to restore the saturated state of superheated steam producing discharge temperatures approaching saturation. In most cases, the cooling medium is the same fluid as the vapour to be superheated, but in the liquid state. Askalon is supplying different engineered solutions to fulfil the customers desuperheating requirements including control valves and nozzles. Common models are cooling ring nozzle (wafer design), fixed geometry nozzle and venturi nozzle.
