Armatury K91 series Ball valves

 

Ball valves are designed for full opening or full closing of the service flow. They cannot be used as throttle or flow control valves. The range of application depends on body material, trim, and material of sealing elements.
Suitable for Natural gas, coke-oven gas, crude oil and its derivates, oxygen, noncorrosive liquids and gases without mechanical impurities.

 

Meets the requirements of API Spec 6D and other applicable regulations. The ball is freely joined with the shaft (floating ball) and pressure acting on the ball is taken up by the seats. Balls with different bore diameters (reduced bore) can be supplied upon request.  Tightness of the joint body and covers is provided by two seals.  The shaft design ensures that the shaft cannot be blow out from the valve body by pressure of the medium.  In case of metal to metal design the seats and balls are hard faced and mutually lapped.

 

 
Ball valves may be equipped with the following systems:
• vent ball valve or plug (ball valve for DN ≥ 150 only)
• drain ball valve or plug (ball valve for DN ≥ 150 only)
• stem extension
• bypass
• special device for body cavity pressure relief

Ball valve design is the same as the type of K91.4, with the tightness of the body to the outside through seal weld.
