Sales engineer for Jylland

You are offered a very independent position, where you are responsible for selling the company's wide pallet of products and solutions within valves and customized solutions that address the process industry.
Your primary task will be to maintain and expand sales to both a new and existing customer portfolio. You have a great focus on the entire process industry, and experience from the Oil & Gas industry is an advantage.

When you are not with your customers, your workplace can be at the office in Esbjerg or you can work from home. It is important that you do visits to the customers and therefore are prepared to spend a lot of your time with customers. Here, you develop and expand sales, where you use your experience of linking both new and existing customers close to the company and running the sales process, including developing concept sales. Askalon AB has its danish headquarters in Søborg.
You plan on how to solve the task while working closely with the rest of the team, where you get support from sales colleagues and office employees. This will ensure that the strategic goals are met in the best possible way. You will therefore receive good and well-qualified help for calculation of offers, preparation of documentation, follow-up of various administrative tasks and marketing support.

The job requires that you are detail oriented and want to create new contacts and business opportunities to develop sales and cooperation with the customer so that they perceive Askalon AB as a strategic partner.
You are responsible of monitoring market trends, products, concepts and solutions within Askalon's product range with primary focus on valves. You actively use your knowledge and sales experience in combination with your technical understanding of your assignment solution, both towards customers and external partners as well as to your other colleagues in the Nordic organization.

Your background
You are an engineer, mechanical Engineer or similar. You have worked with sales to the process industry, and have sold similar or related products. You are ready to use your skills in a role where you are both a counselor and a proactive seller. You have strong presentation skills and are skilled at working around the entire sales process. You have good communication skills in both Danish and English.

You are a good relationship builder who likes to create long-term relationships. You are therefore also good at engaging and motivating yourself to achieve the goals. You think commercially and are able to negotiate at all levels. You are enjoying a performance-oriented environment and you are self-motivating with the ability to drive yourself forward every day. You are searching, thinking about solutions and seeing opportunities while having an analytical approach to your task solution. You are passionate about creating strong customer relationships and the ability to use and develop your network for the benefit of your results.
